Revival’s King Pimm

The creative mixologists at Revival cocktail bar in bustling downtown Lakeland put their spin on the beloved British summer beverage, the Pimm’s. This would be a perfect accompaniment to watching Wimbledon tennis on the telly.This drink is from their spring/summer menu and they make it all the time. It is so light and refreshing.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ounce cucumber-infused vodka or you can muddle a couple of slices
  • 1 ounce Pimm’s No. 1 Liqueur
  • 1 –2 strawberries
  • 6 –8 mint leaves
  • ½ ounce lemon juice
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • Ginger beer

Instructions
 

  • Muddle 1 large strawberry or 2 smaller ones with about 6–8 mint leaves in a shaker tin.
  • Add vodka, Pimm’s Liqueur, lemon juice and simple syrup to shaker tin and shake for about 8–10 seconds. Double strain (to remove mint and strawberry pulp) ingredients over ice in a Collins glass and top with ginger beer.
  • Garnish with a strawberry and mint leaf.
